A trip to Santa Fe would help...Canyon Road has half-a dozen galleries with Antique American Indian Art. You could try the gallery "Spanish and Indian" in Sante Fe which is run by an honest and friendly fellow. As for books, Several stubstantial volumes have come out in the last 8 years. The bookstore at the Museum of the American Indian in NYC would have a good selection.
