The painting is by (and this entire collection is from the estate of) Cincinnati Artist Margaret Newland Wenstrup (1930-2008). The painting, entitled "Red, White and Black," dated 1956, is unsigned, but retains exhibition tag from The American Federation of Arts, signed by Wenstrup. The piece was exhibited by the American Federation of Arts, Forecast Exhibit (traveling), which ran from 05/1956 - 06/1958 and the 1955 Butler Institute of Art Mid Year Show. EBTH
